Tour de Hvar, taking place from May 9 to 11, 2025, is a multi-stage trail race hosted on Croatia’s iconic island of Hvar. Known as the sunniest island in the Mediterranean, Hvar offers runners an unforgettable setting where mountains meet the crystal-clear Adriatic Sea. Participants will experience a mix of terrain—from lush vineyards and olive groves to ancient pine forests—while immersing themselves in the island’s rich cultural heritage, including UNESCO sites, medieval fortresses, and historic ruins.
Runners can choose from four race options: 13 km (+448 m), 22 km (+687 m), 40 km (+1730 m), and 64.2 km (+2750 m), with an additional spicy vertical challenge on Friday. Each course promises spectacular sea views, technical single trails, and a journey through Hvar’s stunning natural and historical landscape. After the race, participants can enjoy a well-deserved dip in the warm Mediterranean waters—making it not just a race, but a full sensory experience.
